Originally born and raised in San Diego, I attended UC Santa Cruz for college where I played water polo and competed on the swim team. After graduating with a degree in Psychology I coached water polo and swimming in Santa Cruz for four years before starting the UX Design Certificate program with UCSD Extension and moving back to San Diego.

My hobbies include playing guitar and piano, tinkering with hardware and software, and surfing.

I currently am a coach and mentor with San Diego Shores Water Polo club and The Bishop's School for girls water polo. On the weekend you can find me on the pool deck coaching.
